Abstract: The author argues that while gender bias in sciences in major research universities is well documented, not enough attention is paid to such bias in master's (comprehensive) universities and undergraduate liberal arts colleges. She also suggests increasing financial support for women in sciences and engineering, commissioning separate studies of the issue for each type of postsecondary institution, and as results are made known, organizing bodies to advocate for inclusion.
