Abstract: The article provides information from the 2008-2009 annual report of the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS). Efforts to increase communication among ALCTS members include an online newsletter. Topics discussed at the 2009 American Library Association midwinter meeting included the reputation of the association's peer-reviewed journal "Library Resources and Technical Services," the organizational structure and fiscal operations of the ALCTS, and Web-based courses and webinars.
