Topics discussed include the dismissal of the idea that a mother causes the illness while a patient is young, clinicians' acknowledgement of the role of genes and environmental factors in the inception of the mental disease, and the pushback in biomedical approach because of side effects of antipsychotics such as feeling dull and bloated. |
