| Abstract: |
The authors reflect on the similarities of the three major service academies in the U.S., the Air Force, the Navy and the Army, to other higher education institutions in the country. They mentions that like other colleges and universities, service academies also take the purpose of liberal education as defined by the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). They note that service academies also follows the Liberal Education and America's Promise (LEAP) initiative of learning. |
