Abstract: The article focuses on the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) market of the U.S. It states that a large number of policymakers and industry leaders thinks that the U.S. is suffering from high tech talent crises. It further presents views of Steve Jobs, former head of technology firm Apple Inc. who stated that the company could have created more than 700,000 jobs in the U.S. instead of China if it been able to find more U.S. engineers.
