Abstract: Pursuant to Assembly Bill 132 Section (89)(e), the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office and the Board of Governors for California Community Colleges are pleased to release the 2024-2025 LGBTQ+ Program Legislative report. In accordance with the reporting requirements, the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office is required to report to the Legislature with information on the use of appropriated funds, the number of colleges receiving funds, the amount allocated per college, planned uses of these funds, and recommendations for future state funding. This report illuminates the diverse range of activities implemented to support the success of LGBTQ+ students. These activities show how designing educational spaces with LGBTQ+ experiences in mind also benefit the entire student body.
