Abstract: This Research Brief summarizes the performance of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) students participating in the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Program. Cambridge courses and examinations were offered at 20 MDCPS high schools in 2024-2025. Over 19,500 examinations were completed by M-DCPS students in 40 subject areas in 2024-2025. The number of AICE exams completed in M-DCPS increased by 7% from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025. Overall, the percentage of AICE examinations receiving passing scores remained stable at 68% from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025. From 2023-2024 to 2024-2025, the percentage of examinations receiving passing scores decreased by one percentage point for Hispanic students, increased by one percentage point for Black students, and remained the same for White students and students classified as Other. At the conclusion of the 2024-2025 school year, 72% of eligible M-DCPS students received AICE diplomas, a three percentage point increase from 2023-2024.
