Abstract: This Information Capsule utilized National Student Clearinghouse and Senior Exit Survey data to report on postsecondary plans and college enrollment of Miami-Dade County Public Schools' graduates who were part of the 2019-2020 graduating cohort. The class of 2020 graduated during the COVID pandemic and the effects of it are reflected in the decrease in college enrollment following high school graduation. M-DCPS' four-year college graduation rate for students enrolled in college for the first time in the Fall of 2020 was 48%. This rate was lower than the four-year college graduation rate for M-DCPS students who enrolled in college in the Fall of 2019.
