| Abstract: | This online appendix is a supplement to the report "Supporting and Sustaining a Diverse Teacher Workforce." That report provides the most recent descriptive statistics on teachers of color from the National Teacher and Principal Survey (NTPS), primarily from the 2020-21 survey year. It also includes some items from the 2017-18 survey year, particularly where those items were not available in 2020-21. This online supplement offers additional descriptives across items included in our report from the 2017-18 NTPS data, including data on the distribution of teachers of color by school region and urbanicity, their intentions to leave teaching or move schools, teacher preparation and certification, teacher satisfaction indicators, and access to coaching, mentoring, and other professional development activities. |
