| Abstract: | The American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE)'s 2025 annual conference of "Bridging the Generational Divide -- Recognizing the Roots and Branches of the Field of Adult Education" had a dual purpose. First, it encouraged thinking about the history and foundations of the field and examining how those have provided the base for modern adult education. Second, the theme prompted thinking about the foundation being now provided for the future of the field. Both the virtual and in-person conference experiences allowed participants to reflect on those themes. These proceedings highlight the rich array of presentations delivered at the conference that offers both research-based and practice-oriented insights into adult and continuing education.
