| Abstract: | Although college student-athletes traditionally experience more stressors than their campus peers due to the demands of their dual roles, the additional presence of ADHD often compounds their stress. This article takes a closer look at the current state of student-athlete mental health and the function of a counseling center specifically for college athletes. It then shows how the counseling center uses assessment to take the pulse in order to best respond to the client population who are confronting ADHD. |
