Title: O'Connor warns Cork are 'driving on, full belt'.
Authors: PHILIP LANIGAN
Source: Daily Mail. 3/2/2026, p56. 3p.
Abstract: CORK manager Ben O'Connor said his team have no intention of putting the 'handbrake' on as the Munster champions beat Kilkenny to go top in Division 1A of the National Hurling League. With a trip to the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick looming next Saturday night, in what is a repeat of last year's thrilling Munster final that was only decided on penalties, O'Connor insisted his team wouldn't be pulling any punches. 'If you were above at training next Tuesday night, you'd see the competition. 'Any fella that puts the handbrake on is going to be left behind. That's just the way it is. 'We're not minding ourselves. We're driving on, full belt. Any fella that's minding himself because he thinks he's going to get injured, sure he could get injured any day of the week or anything could happen. 'Our fellas are just driving on. They're mad for training and mad to be involved.' [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
