Abstract: The authors reflect on the factors as to theme for the June 2006 issue of the journal. They have chosen critically appraised papers related to children with autism for the reason that autism has been one of the most noted issues in the medical profession. They searched multiple databases with a broad search strategy for autism-specific material that would inform occupational therapy practice.
