| Abstract: | The article explores how income and income inequality impacts public health in the U.S. Particular focus is given to what policymakers can do to improve health outcomes. Additional topics discussed include how as of 2021 50% of all household income goes to the top 10% of earners, how income inequality appears to be increasing in the 21st century, and how bumps in income for low-wage earners can greatly improve health outcomes. |
