Abstract: The article discusses the lessons learned by the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics for Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) initiative from COVID-19 testing research. Topics include the effectiveness of partnering with trusted community organizations, faith-based groups, and local leaders, disparities along lines of race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status in COVID-19 testing behavior and vaccine access and uptake, and lesson on interventions to reduce racial and ethnic minority disparities.
