| Abstract: |
The article presents an evaluation questionnaire that teachers can use as a guide in judging the quality of CD-ROM storybooks. The CD-ROM storybook is a form of interactive and expressive text narration. Additionally, it employs multimedia features such as animation, music and sound. The main criteria in the evaluation tool include the need for appropriate teaching methods to reflect the respective age group's cognitive, physical, emotional and social skills and the incorporation of verbal directions in software. It is critical for the roles of educators and teachers to expand to software evaluation in order to enable them to make informed choices about which software children should be exposed to. |
