| Abstract: |
The article provides a multicultural transformational pedagogy based on existential and humanistic principles for counselor education. This pedagogy is aimed at increasing the likelihood of positive counseling outcomes with all clients and with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds. In this approach, multiculturalism will be infused into all areas of counselor education curricula and will be inherent in the learning process. The method will begin by helping counselor educators and students develop a more in-depth understanding of the lived experiences of people from diverse backgrounds. |
