Abstract: The article presents various perspectives on the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory of psychological stress promulgated by Stevan E. Hobfoll. The authors discuss COR theory through a different analytical framework than Hobfoll, from the perspectives of physiology, faith, wealth, and prevention. They view COR theory as a valid contribution to the study of stress.
