Abstract: The article presents the author's commentary on the article "I don't know how to find my way in the world," by Larry Davidson. According to the author, the narratives collected in the article are poignant reminders of how loneliness and isolation portrays the lives of many persons with diseases. He added that the data summarized by Davidson and colleagues proposed that Connecticut, as one of the most highly rated states for mental disease services.
