Abstract: The article presents a case study of a 47-year-old male patient with chronic hepatitis because of hepatitis C virus (HCV), genotype 1, on treatment with Telaprevir (TVR), pegylated interferon (PegIFN), and ribavirin (RBV). He was admitted because of intense headache. The article cites the authors' belief that it is the first case of intense headache as an adverse event due to TVR that required stopping the drug.
