| Abstract (English): | This essay develops some reflections on the work of the historian, based on a reading of the text "The historiographical operation" by Michel de Certeau. What does this work bring into play when we approach it from alternative interpretive frameworks? Having other tools to interpret it differently allows us to reactivate this historian's thought within another network of meaning, to observe aspects that lie in the background of the practice of history. The instruments I want to employ here are the semantics of two concepts developed by Jacques Derrida in his book Archive Fever, regarding its conceptualization and its technical, external, and inscriptive nature: the hypomnesic and the prosthetic. | Abstract (Spanish): | Este ensayo desarrolla algunas reflexiones sobre el quehacer del historiador, a partir de una lectura de "La operación historiográfica" de Michel de Certeau. ¿Qué es lo que pone en escena en este trabajo, cuando podemos leerlo desde otras claves de lectura? Disponer de otras herramientas para interpretarlo de diferente modo, permite reactivar el pensamiento de este historiador en otra red de relaciones de sentido, para observar otros aspectos que están en el trasfondo del quehacer de la historia. Los instrumentos que quiero emplazar aquí son las semánticas de dos conceptos desarrollados por Jacques Derrida en su libro Mal de archivo, a propósito de éste, su conceptualidad y su naturaleza técnica, exterior y de inscripción que lo conforman: lo hipomnémico y lo protésico. | Abstract (Portuguese): | Este ensaio desenvolve algumas reflexões sobre o trabalho do historiador, a partir de uma leitura de "A Operação Historiográfica", de Michel de Certeau. O que é que esta obra traz à tona quando a lemos noutras perspetivas? Dispor de outras ferramentas para a interpretar de forma diferente permite reactivar o pensamento deste historiador noutra rede de significados, observar outros aspectos que se encontram no pano de fundo do empreendimento histórico. Os instrumentos que aqui pretendo empregar são a semântica de dois conceitos desenvolvidos por Jacques Derrida no seu livro "Mal de Arquivo", referentes à sua conceptualização e à sua natureza técnica, exterior e inscricional: o hipomnémico e o protético.
