Abstract: A group of scholars from diverse backgrounds, including Palestinian, Jewish, Muslim, Indigenous, Christian, Black, Latina, North African, and South Asian, offer a critical reflection on an article titled "The Need for School Psychologists to Address Antisemitism." While they agree that addressing antisemitism is important, they argue that the article's definition of antisemitism, which includes criticism of Israel, is misleading and harmful to Middle Eastern and Jewish youth. They suggest an alternative definition, the Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism, which allows for Palestinian critiques of Israel without silencing them.
